O Heavenly Father, compassionate and loving God! Unto Thy providential care I commit my children (names), whom Thou hast bestowed upon me. Guard them under the shadow of Thy wings from all evil, deceitful passions, and adversaries.
Illumine their minds with the light of Thy Gospel, bestow upon them diligence in learning, uprightness of heart, and righteousness in action. Guide them away from harmful influences and surround them with wise companions.
Strengthen their bodily health and spiritual fortitude; teach them to love Thee with their whole soul and their neighbors as themselves, to honor their parents, and to serve Thy holy Church faithfully.
Appoint an Angel of peace to guard their footsteps throughout all the days of their lives, leading them toward Thy Heavenly Kingdom. For Thou art our God, and unto Thee do we ascribe glory, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
