Sometimes, for a successful project launch, a good deal, a job search, or resolving a difficult life situation, we need not only our own efforts but also support from above. You are not alone on your path. On this page, we unite to help each other with the strongest weapon — shared prayer.

Why does shared online prayer have power?

The Lord is not limited by kilometers, cities, or monitor screens. Spiritual unity is created wherever there are sincere hearts. Jesus Christ Himself left us a great promise:

“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

(Matthew 18:19-20)

When you leave your request here, and someone on the other side of the country or the world reads it and sincerely asks God for your success, you become those “two or three” gathered in His Name. The Apostle James also reminds us: “Pray for each other… The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16). Our mutual support opens the door to God’s blessing.

What should our prayer and request be like?

Everything we do on this page, we do for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Before leaving a request or joining in prayer for others, do a quick check with your own conscience. Your desire should not contradict God’s commandments or bring harm to other people. Our main spiritual guideline is the basic rule: “Love God and love your neighbor.”

Jesus also taught us the secret of sincere prayer:

“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

(Matthew 6:6)

He reminded us: “For your Father knows what you need before you ask him” (Matthew 6:8). Therefore, you do not have to write out all the specific details of your situation in the comments if you do not want to. You can leave a general request (for example: “I ask for prayer to resolve a conflict at work,” or “for success in a new beginning,” or simply leave a mark). God already knows your heart and your needs.

Our Prayer Rule: General Prayer and Personal Support

So that prayer is not just a passing thought, but real spiritual work, we propose the following prayer rule: pray the “Our Father” (The Lord’s Prayer) 40 times as a general prayer for the success of all the endeavors and people who have left their requests here. And then, if you wish, you can pray one more “Our Father” for each specific request in the comments that particularly resonates in your heart.

The number 40 has a deep sacred meaning in the Bible (Jesus fasted in the desert for 40 days, it rained for 40 days during the flood, Moses led the people to the Promised Land for 40 years). It is a time of purification, trial, and preparation for a miracle of God.

In its essence, such an intensive appeal to God resembles an Akathist (from Greek “not sitting hymn” — a special hymn of praise and supplication, prayed with great zeal and focus). By taking on the rule of 40 “Our Father” prayers for the success of everyone present here, you perform your own small spiritual effort for the sake of your neighbors.

2. Perform the general prayer: Fulfill our rule — sincerely pray the “Our Father” 40 times for the success of all those who have left their intentions here.
3. Support specific people (optional): Look through the comments. Choose the ones that resonate with you, and purposefully pray one more “Our Father” for this person.
4. Let them know you are near: Click the “I Prayed” button next to the comment or write a short reply: “Prayed for you. May God bless you!”. This will give incredible support to the author of the request.
5. Share a testimony (when God answers): If the Lord has heard your request and the matter has been resolved successfully, be sure to come back! Describe it in a new comment or as a reply to your previous request. Your testimony will help other people grow in their faith and will glorify God and His Son Jesus.
